The First-Generation Forum is a community created to center, support, and empower first-generation college students. We believe that first-generation students bring unique experiences, perspectives, and strengths to higher education, and they deserve spaces where they feel seen, understood, connected, and supported.

The Forum also brings together educators, practitioners, administrators, and policymakers committed to improving the first-generation student experience. Through learning, dialogue, and collaboration, we equip those who support first-generation students with greater insight and practical strategies from student perspectives to help them thrive.
