Join the Forum

The First-Generation Student Forum is a virtual community for first-generation college students ages 18 and older. Meeting on the last Wednesday of each month from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM, the Forum creates a welcoming space to connect with other first-generation students, share experiences, build relationships, and learn from one another.

Each conversation is shaped by the students who participate. Together, members can explore topics such as navigating higher education, identity, belonging, challenges, and the experiences that shape the first-generation journey. Meetings may also feature guest speakers, shared resources, and opportunities to connect with practitioners and decision-makers who want to learn directly from first-generation students.

At the heart of the Forum is student voice. Your experiences, perspectives, and insights are valuable and can help shape not only your own journey but also the ways colleges and communities support first-generation students.

Join us each month to build community, share your story, find support, and help shape the future of first-generation student success.
